“A quiet counterbalance to the day job — a way to slow down without a deadline attached.” — On photography

Photography has always been a quiet counterbalance to my day job in web design — a way to slow down, step back, and appreciate the world without a deadline attached. Over the years I've built countless digital experiences for others, but this site is my own small corner of the web. It's where I share the photos that caught my attention and the stories that came with them — sometimes thoughtful, sometimes accidental, always honest.

As a designer, I finally decided to give my photography the same care I give my clients' work. This site is an evolving project — a place I plan to keep adding to, refining, and expanding as my camera and I find new things worth seeing. The equipment list below isn't about the gear as much as it is about the process: tools that help me translate what I notice into something worth sharing.
